Ok so ive been doing a lot of thinking this week and after tutorials with Joel and Paul I was encouraged to not so much look at the lyrics of sixties pyschedelic music and rather focus on the countercultures, racial injustice, womens rights, war in vietnam etc.
After researching I came across the story of Edie Sedgewick, 'the factory girl' Ive always been fascinated with her story of being an underground filmstar made famous by Andy Warhol but it came at the price of her life.
I think this is what interests me so much about her story; selling you soul to the devil.
